The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Patna is inviting online applications for the post of Junior Resident (Non-Academic). These positions are offered on an ad-hoc basis for an initial tenure of six months, which may be extended up to a maximum of 12 months.

Salary: ₹56,100 per month (Level-10 of Pay Matrix) plus NPA and usual allowances.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have an MBBS degree from an MCI/NMC recognized institute and have completed their internship.
Registration: Valid NMC/MCI or State Medical Council registration is mandatory before joining.
Upper Age Limit: 37 years (as of February 20, 2026).
Relaxations: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and up to 10 years for PwBD candidates.
💸 Application Fee

UR / EWS / OBC: ₹1,200 + transaction charges.
SC / ST: ₹500 + transaction charges.
PwBD & Women Candidates: Exempted (No Fee).

The selection is entirely merit-based via a Written Test (MCQ):
Format: 100 questions (1 mark each) with no negative marking.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes.
